What to do with the eggs when your wife would kill you for putting "fish food" into the fridge and when you have kids that will try to eat the shrimp eggs because that's what young kids do?...

Do you worry about the as yet, unhatched eggs that get stuck to the top edge of the breeder due to the bubbles from the air line? Do you need to wash/push the eggs back into the water or will they hatch while stuck a little above the water line and fall back into the water as the brine shrimp move about?

Is this the Amazon puffer fish I just purchased one and a African mud skipper I bought it from a local pet store and he had the African mud skippers in freshwater and he said is doing very well so I purchased the Amazon puffer fish to go along with it. Do you think this is going to work?

If you keep any invertebrates in your FOWLR tank make sure your sand contains some calcium - it's critical for crustations to moult and anemones need it too which is why aragonite sand is ideal!❤ For all filter media and supplements, including Prime dechlorinator, Seachem is awesome and not horribly expensive. I use their Vibrant Sea salt which is cheaper than Instant Ocean and works great!

Finally a good Oscar video but if you are keeping a pet Oscar by itself, you can give it guppies, platys and mollies to eat. It does add enrichment to its life because they do enjoy the hunt while not being piscavores . Also crickets are a good option but definitely a much better idea to feed them dead crickets than live. Very good diet along with its pellet staple although I wouldn’t just buy these fish at a pet store and feed it to the Oscar right away. Don’t give it bugs and live fish every day. Do it once every week or two. Breed your guppies, mollies, and platys. Even baby convicts make a good snack for it. If you are doing a cichlid tank with an Oscar I highly recommend not doing live unless there’s enough food to go around

The great problem of livebearers. I’ve thought about adding a predator fish to my 29 gallon livebearer tank.

I am tempted to get a 20 gallon hexagon to replace my 10g half circle tank on it's 18 inch stand. Turn the 10g into a guppy tank. I just hope the tank is not too heavy for the 18" table. It's about a total of 1 2x4 worth of wooden supports, 4 1x1's or about that. There's tanks up to 36 gallons, that will potentially fit on a 18 inch round stand, some are acrylic and cool looking. Column tanks could work for some angels and they take less space if you have vertical space, can replace a 29.

Your African tank is way cool, those are some awesome colors. That's not the easiest fish to keep, they look awesome. I am into freshwater angels now, just kind of happened I like how they school and they are like a water puppy. Your Blue Ahlis and peacocks are awesomeee... In 4k these are some of the best freshwater fish I have seen. I used to have a dark Royal Blue Mbenji once, years ago he was awesome with a Blue Ahli and those were nice fish. I like yours with the yellow head, so cool.

I just got a canister filter a little less than a month ago. I cleaned it today for the first time and put some additional media in. For three weeks, I must say the water and some of the media was pretty bad. However not like what you just had, but it took a little time to get it all washed out and cleaned up. The entire process took about a half hour.

I love them except for in my shrimp tank. They out compete the shrimp for food sometimes. I have MTS in my shrimp tank and try to get rid of them as much as I can.

Ramshorn snails are pretty cool and good at cleaning the tank but they breed way to fast and the shells plug up the water change syphon

hands down the best 29 gallon tank video I've watched so far. I'm still unsure if I will be able to get a Lemon Jack Peacock ( just 1 ) for my 29 gallon and add a couple 1-4 other community fish. I'm going to keep researching but this video warrants a subscribe right out the gate. If you have any suggestions of a cichlid that would be very similar to the Lemon Jack Peacock that would fit better i would love to hear about them.
